Sporty keelboats between 7 and 10 metres shape the range, with the 101 as a one-design class. The Aphrodite 101 was built from 1972 to 1990, and the 25 and the 29 from 1970 to 1990. Because the 101 is still sailed as a class today, racing use is a topic of its own when you take out the policy.
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. You state races with scoring status when you take out the policy, and they then form part of the contract rather than a matter of interpretation in the event of a claim. For a keelboat the premium is based on the sail area and not on engine power.
Boats from the seventies and eighties are traded second hand today. Instead of a current market value we agree an agreed value, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), including for equipment listed in the schedule attached to the contract.
