Inland lake or coastal waters: the cruising range is one of the factors that determine the premium. Zaadnoordijk includes the C-Yacht model ranges, sailing yachts that have been built from 1997 until today, and older boats such as the Centaur from 1973. When taking out the policy, state the waters in which you actually sail.
A Compromis 720, a Compromis 888 and a Compromis 999 are already sailing in our own portfolio. For trips across the border, the international certificate of insurance is automatically enclosed in ten languages; this way you can prove your cover in a foreign harbour without any effort.
The sum insured is set as an agreed value, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

I am moving my Compromis from inland waters to the coast. What do I need to do?
The cruising range is a premium factor and in the policy it should match the waters you actually use. For trips abroad, the international certificate of insurance is automatically enclosed in ten languages.
Does the hull cover for my C-Yacht also apply at night at anchor?
Covered are, among other things, collision, grounding and vandalism, and limited hull cover additionally storm, fire and theft of the entire boat.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On boats this size the condition of rig and fittings decides. A dismasting is covered, worn terminals after years are not.
