Y6, Y7, Y8 and Y9 are the four recorded model ranges; the Y7 has been running since 2015, the Y8 and Y9 since 2017 and the Y6 since 2022, all up to the present day. Anyone taking over one of these sailing yachts second-hand can include legal expenses cover for water sports with the boat insurance.
It applies in a dispute after buying a used boat as well as in disputes with a yard, for example after a repair. Alongside this component, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis of the contract, graded across the three tariff levels.
For the yacht itself, full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The premium follows type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, and up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
