Two sailing yachts and one motor boat are recorded: the Jachtu X-60 from 2013 to 2020, the Blekit Rapsod from 2010 to 2018 and the Marine 500 from 2013 to 2019. For all three, cover begins with third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
How high the amount turns out is determined by the tariff level Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. The hull cover builds on that, with an agreed value in full hull cover and indemnity with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit for the year of construction. With the sailing yachts, club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff upwards.
With the sailing yachts the sail area enters into the premium, with the motor boat the engine power, plus the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Since all three ranges have been discontinued, the boats enter the portfolio as used boats, which is of no significance for acceptance.

How much does third-party liability cover?
Depending on the tariff level, 10 to 50 million euros. It is the basis of every contract, limited hull cover and full hull cover are added as protection for your own boat.
Does it matter where the boat was bought?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range count.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
