Worth knowing
White Eagle; cover, cost and conditions
The range comprises four series, Eagle One and Zephir 750 since 2014, HW 750 Cabin and Zephir 1200 since 2018, all of them to the present day. Motor boats and motor yachts are recorded. Anyone taking over such a boat often already has a policy running that is to be replaced.
We handle the switch completely, because NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge and watches the deadlines. The new cover follows on with no gap, with the third-party liability as the basis and, as you choose, limited hull cover or full hull cover in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels.
In the full hull cover, collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How do I switch from my current provider?
You provide the details of the previous policy, NAMMERT cancels it free of charge and handles the correspondence. The new policy starts in such a way that no gap in cover arises.
Which tariff levels are available?
Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and in the Premium tariff the full hull cover additionally applies with no age limit.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
