One sailing boat is recorded, the Pionier from V&V Yachting, built between 1991 and 1999. We have nothing further available. Even without complete shipyard documents the boat can be insured, because we expressly accept small series and home-built boats.
Instead of a list price we arrange an agreed value. It is set jointly, comprises the boat and the associated equipment and is paid out when a claim arises with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, regardless of the build year.
On a sailing boat the sail area feeds into the premium instead of an engine power output, along with the type of boat, value, build year and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

What applies to boats without complete papers?

Is a Pionier covered in races?
