Two sailing yachts are recorded: the SHE 31B with build years from 1966 to 1973 and the SHE 32 from 1970 to 1977. Both build periods ended long ago. What is on board today comes largely from later years, and that belongs in the valuation.
Navigation electronics, fittings, sails and permanently installed equipment are recorded in the schedule when the policy is taken out. Only in this way does the agreed value reflect the value in full and does full hull cover pay indemnity with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Theft of parts including the outboard is included in this.

Do new sails belong in the value schedule?
Equipment that is a permanent part of the boat is recorded when the policy is taken out, so that the agreed value reflects the full value. Otherwise the indemnity turns out lower than what is actually on board.
Is a yacht from 1966 eligible for full hull cover?
In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit. Indemnity is paid according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners.
