Nordhavn 46, SC 41 and SC 63 are the three recorded ranges, built between 1991 and 2000; the SC 63 is a cabin catamaran and the other two are motor yachts. With yachts of this kind, part of the value lies in permanently installed equipment and electronics, which belong in the list of items.
Which of these are to be insured you state when you take out the policy, because the list is the basis of the agreed value. In the event of a claim we pay this agreed value with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. You should therefore report equipment installed later to us.
The rest of the cover is arranged around the value: third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts under full hull cover, as well as fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat under limited hull cover, plus protection in winter storage.

Do I have to report equipment installed later?
Yes, so that the agreed value matches the actual value. Otherwise compensation remains limited to the amount originally agreed.
