Slickcraft; cover, cost and conditions

The whole boat does not always disappear, and often only parts are missing. Full hull cover covers theft of parts including the outboard, and in addition vandalism, collision and grounding; theft of the entire boat is already part of the limited hull cover. For the owner of a Slickcraft both are therefore covered, the boat and its equipment.

With 45 documented model ranges the programme was broad, from the Slickcraft 237 to the 310 SC, built as motor boats and motor yachts between 1969 and 1994. Since production lies in the past, these boats change owner second-hand today; we insure them regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.

A daycruiser of this make is already sailing in our own portfolio. When buying a used Slickcraft the agreed value helps: the replacement value is set when the contract is taken out and, in the event of a total loss, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without any age limit.

On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
