With a young motorboat, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count for the premium. The brand has no influence. Full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old") and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Limited hull cover comprises fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. There is no time window and no night clause. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, and the boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Seacore C6 EXS is a motorboat from Seacore, built since 2023.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
