Saxdor from Finland has been building fast boats with outboard propulsion and a distinctive hull shape since 2019. The brand has grown strongly in a few years, and many boats run with twin engines and a high cruising speed.
Both engines belong in the policy with their power and serial number, otherwise in the event of theft the hull insurance covers only the hull. On fast boats full hull cover is the basis, not an option: grounding at cruising speed and an impact against floating debris are borne only by all-risks cover. For an installed tracker there is a ten percent discount on the hull insurance.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
