The only model range documented is the Suncruiser 770, a motor yacht with a construction period from 1970 to 1981. Production lies far in the past. We insure boats from that time unchanged, because the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners are no grounds for exclusion for us.
Over the winter a yacht of this size usually stands in a shed or on a cradle. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, launching and along the transport route. Limited hull cover covers damage in winter storage, plus fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat.
For a boat from the seventies the valuation is the real question. Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The agreed amount is therefore fixed before any loss occurs.

Frequent questions
Is a boat continuously covered in winter storage?
Yes. Cover also applies in winter storage, during craning and launching. Damage in winter storage expressly belongs to limited hull cover, and hull cover has no time restriction.
How old may a motor yacht be for full hull cover?
In the Premium tariff there is no age limit. Compensation follows the agreed value and is paid with no deduction for depreciation.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Series by RAK, build years and cover
Suncruiser 770 is a motor yacht from RAK, built from 1970 to 1981.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
