Two motor boat ranges are documented, the Quayline 16 from 1989 to 2001 and the Quayline 19 from 1993 to 1999. After that the record ends. Boats from that period run as used boats today, and we insure them regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners.
After a second-hand purchase, the value agreed decides what is paid in the event of a claim. We work with an agreed value and do without any deduction for depreciation, so that the question of the depreciated value does not arise in the first place. Previous owners and the place of purchase change nothing about this.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, supplemented by limited hull cover or full hull cover. Limited hull cover carries fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the contract online.

Frequent questions
What do you pay after a total loss?
The agreed value that has been set, with no deduction for depreciation. This means the amount of the indemnity is fixed when the contract is taken out and is not measured against the depreciated value afterwards.
Do you accept boats with several previous owners?
Yes. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners. Small production runs and home-built boats are insurable too, and the premium follows the data of the boat alone.

For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
