Two lines are recorded, the classics of 30 and 40 metres from the years 1980 to 2005 and the SuperSport 48 / 52 m from 2005 to 2020. New construction is dormant, and the yard in the USA works in refit today. For the policy, therefore, the condition and the state of the refit are what count, not a new-boat price of former times.
The value is agreed as an agreed value and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, which is decisive for a yacht with a refit history.
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online; above that we assess the individual case.
