Otam; cover, cost and conditions
Two model ranges are recorded, the Otam Millennium 45 and 55 since 2000 as well as the Otam 70 and 80 HT since 2010. They are fast custom motor yachts from Genoa with lengths from 13 to 25 metres, designed for high sustained speed. For the premium, engine power is one of the figures that count.
Alongside it, type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range are taken into account, while the name of the yard is left out. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual review of the contract follows. This limit depends solely on the sum insured.
Third-party liability is available with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, graded across Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Under full hull cover the value is arranged as an agreed value and replaced with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Craning, launching and winter storage are included.

Otam 70 / 80 HT is a motor yacht from Otam (Italy), built since 2010, and today changes hands at between €2,400,000 and €4,800,000.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
