Four model ranges are listed: the Parallax 11 from 1983, the Parallax 9 and the Farrier F 31 from 1989 as well as the Tramp as a cabin trimaran from 1990. All of them end in 1997. Multihulls from that period are used boats today, and the policy has to reflect them irrespective of the year of construction.
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and takes effect when a dispute arises after the purchase of a used boat about condition or assurances, or when a yard sees a repair differently from you. It supplements the boat insurance and can be taken out together with it.
For the vessel itself, full hull cover applies with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation and, in the Premium tariff, with no age limit. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including outboards. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros carries it underneath.

Are multihulls treated differently from monohulls?

On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
