The Super Classic range comprises three models, the 16 and the 25 as motor boats and the 40 as a motor yacht, built from 2003 and until 2016 and 2012 respectively. The models differ in value and engine output, and both enter directly into the premium; the cruising range counts in addition.
Because the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, the name of the yard plays no part. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on top of it. In the end it is the individual boat that counts for the premium.
Production ended in 2016; the boats sail on. For them an agreed value is set, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), and cover reaches from the water via the crane into winter storage and onto the transit route. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Does it make a difference whether a boat counts as a motor boat or a motor yacht?
The type of boat is one of the details from which the premium results, as are value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range. The brand name is left out in every case.
Up to what point can a policy be taken out online?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online; above that we review the individual case. The international certificate of insurance comes automatically in ten languages.
