Worth knowing
Nautic-Krautsand; cover, cost and conditions
Anyone who wants to change company does not have to cancel the old contract themselves. NAMMERT takes care of that free of charge. For a motorboat of the Sea-Eagle I range, built from 2003 to 2012, the switch is therefore a question of the boat's details and not of formalities.
No further ranges are recorded, and nothing more can be said about the programme. For the contract the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range count in any case, never the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis.
With years of construction up to 2012 these are used boats. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How does the switch from another company work?
You give us the details of the boat and we cancel the earlier contract free of charge. The new contract then starts, up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros online as well.
Does the sale to a new owner change the insurability?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The value is agreed as an agreed value when the policy is taken out and is paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Series by Nautic-Krautsand, build years and cover
Sea-Eagle I is a motorboat from Nautic-Krautsand, built from 2003 to 2012.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
