Electronics and equipment belong in the schedule when the insured value is set, because the agreed value only secures what has been arranged. On a motor boat of the Eolo range from Nadir Marine it is therefore worth including accessories from the outset. In a claim compensation is then paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

According to the available data, the Eolo model ranges, from the 590 Cabin to the 725 Top Fishing, were built between 2004 and 2019. These boats change owner second hand today. We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners, and in the Premium tariff the full hull cover applies with no age limit.

An Eolo 650 DAY is already sailing in our own portfolio. Besides collision and grounding, the full hull cover also covers vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Precisely with permanently mounted equipment this is the module that closes gaps in the protection.

There is a lot of accessory equipment on my Eolo. How do I insure it as well?

Include the equipment and the electronics in the schedule for the insured value. The agreed value then covers the whole package, and theft of parts is included in the full hull cover.

The Eolo ranges were built until 2019. What does that mean for a second hand purchase?

We insure regardless of the year of build, the place of purchase and previous owners. For a dispute after buying a used boat we also offer legal expenses cover for water sports.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
