Worth knowing
Morra Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
The Morrakruiser 1150 is the only range in our records for Morra Yachts, built from 2001 to 2007. With a motor yacht the installed power is one of the details from which the premium results, together with type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range.
The brand is left out. If the engine is replaced later or laid out more powerfully, report the new output so that the contract and the cover fit. The same applies to equipment that is permanently installed and flows into the agreed value.
The range has not been built since 2007, so every unit today comes second-hand. That changes nothing about acceptance, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Full hull cover replaces the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Which details determine the premium of a motor yacht?
Type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. These five points carry the calculation, and the name of the yard does not enter the premium at any step.
Does an engine change have to be reported?
Yes, report the new output. It is a factor of the premium, and only with the current details does the contract reflect the boat correctly.

Series by Morra Yachts, build years and cover
Morrakruiser 1150 is a motor yacht from Morra Yachts, built from 2001 to 2007.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
