Worth knowing
Marinaut; cover, cost and conditions
How powerfully a boat is engined feeds directly into the premium. One model range is available, the Marinaut 565 motor boat, which has been built since 2022 and is still built today. Alongside the engine power, type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range count, but not the name of the yard.
A boat from current production is young, which speaks for taking out a new policy: the agreed value is set from the start, and the full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit, that is also after many seasons.
Smaller motor boats are trailered; the boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover applies during launching and on the transport route. Beyond that, the full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard as well as collision and grounding.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Does the engine power feed into the premium?
Yes, with motor boats it is one of the features, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. With sailing boats the sail area takes its place. In both cases the brand remains without influence.
What happens during transport to the water?
The transport route, launching and craning are included. The boat trailer is contained in the boat insurance without an additional premium, so that you do not need a separate contract for the way to the berth.

Series by Marinaut, build years and cover
Marinaut 565 is a motorboat from Marinaut, built since 2022.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
