The Italian yard offers three lines: Mangusta 92 / 104 since 2000, Mangusta 132 / 165 since 2005 and GranSport 33 / 45 since 2016, all to this day. They are fast open yachts with water jet propulsion in lengths from 25 to 50 metres. From this order of magnitude upwards we review the contract individually.
Taking out a policy online extends to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros; above that an individual review follows. Jet propulsion produces different damage patterns than a shaft installation, which is why grounding and collision are expressly named in full hull cover.
Third-party liability can be chosen with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Full hull cover pays compensation according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. The international certificate of insurance is automatically available in ten languages.

How is a yacht worth more than 2.5 million euros insured?

Is damage to the water jet propulsion part of full hull cover?
Full hull cover includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Since jet propulsion produces different damage patterns than a shaft installation, the type of propulsion belongs in the details for the contract.
