Three motorboat ranges at Mandal Treinnredning carry the name Venus: the Venus 20 sport since 2016 as well as the Venus 20 xtrm and the Venus 24 since 2017, all of them still today. A current programme means that alongside used boats, factory-new boats also have to be covered, in third-party liability as in hull insurance.
NAMMERT's full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. If the whole boat disappears, limited hull cover already applies, which in addition carries fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage. Hull insurance knows no time window and no night clause.
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never on the brand. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover applies during launching, during craning and in winter storage. The policy is taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros, and above that we examine the individual case.

Frequent questions
Are the engine and accessories of a Venus 24 covered against theft?
Theft of parts including the outboard belongs to full hull cover. Theft of the whole boat is already contained in limited hull cover, as is damage in winter storage.
Does a factory-new boat have to be treated differently from a used one?
Not in its structure. In both cases an agreed value is agreed and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit for the boat.
