Four motorboat ranges are on record, the Leidi 600, 660, 800 R and 990, with years of construction from 2014 and production running to this day. That results in a continuous programme over more than ten years. Even so, what is insured is always the individual boat with its own data.
The engine power is one of the factors that determine the premium, alongside the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Two boats of the same length can therefore be rated differently if they have different engines. The name of the yard never enters into the calculation.
The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros comes first. Anyone wanting to protect their own damage adds limited hull cover or full hull cover, the latter with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation and with theft of parts including the outboard. A trailer is included at no additional premium.

Yes, the engine power enters into the premium, together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. The brand has no influence, even with current years of construction.
What distinguishes limited hull cover from full hull cover?
The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The full hull cover additionally pays for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.
