Worth knowing
La Perriére; cover, cost and conditions
Three sailing yachts have come down to us, Pen Duick, Pen Duick VI and Bassistick VI, with production periods between 1967 and 1975. Anyone sailing abroad with a yacht needs proof of cover there. We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.
The cruising range is set in the contract and flows into the premium alongside sail area, type of boat, value and year of construction. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
Since the production of these yachts lies far back, in full hull cover we arrange an agreed value and indemnify with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with scoring status you report when taking out the policy.
Questions and answers

With the international certificate of insurance, which is issued automatically in ten languages. It documents the cover in place within the cruising range that has been agreed to harbours and authorities.
Are races covered?
Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. State races with scoring status when taking out the policy so that they are expressly recorded in the contract.

Series by La Perriére, build years and cover
Pen Duick is a sailing yacht from La Perriére, built from 1967 to 1975.
Pen Duick VI is a sailing yacht from La Perriére, built from 1967 to 1975.
Bassistick VI is a sailing yacht from La Perriére, built from 1967 to 1974.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
