Two variants of the Vario Cat are recorded, one with kayaks and one with inflatable tubes, both as an open catamaran and built between 2001 and 2012. Craft of this type are frequently trailered, and the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
During launching, during craning and while in transit the cover remains in place, as it does in winter storage. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, regardless of year of build, place of purchase and previous owners.
Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of build, drive and cruising range, not on the brand.
