Internaut; cover, cost and conditions

Whether inland waters or coast: the cruising range is one of the factors that determine the premium. For the Internaut motor boats, built between 1973 and 1992 in model ranges such as the Inter 500 Luxe, Inter 540 Luxe and Inter 630, you therefore state the waters when you take out the policy; that way the contract is rated to match the actual use.

All six documented model ranges are motor boats, and the production periods end in 1992 at the latest; today the boats change owner as used boats. That is no obstacle for the hull insurance: full hull cover works with an agreed value and indemnifies with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

An Inter 630 DE Luxe is already sailing in our own portfolio. If you take your Internaut abroad as well, you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages; the cover also applies while in transport and during craning and launching.

Frequent questions

My Inter 630 is used only on inland waters. Does that affect the contract?

Yes, the cruising range feeds into the premium alongside value, year of construction and engine output. State the waters when you take out the policy, then the contract is rated correctly.

Is full hull cover still available for an Internaut from the 1970s?

Yes. In the Premium tariff full hull cover has no age limit. An agreed value is set, and in the event of a claim indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
