When buying second hand, one figure counts above all: the amount you get back in the event of a total loss. For the NAUTIC 990 motor boat from the years of construction 2019 to 2025 we agree an agreed value for that purpose. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
With a single documented model range the programme is very narrow, and the production period covers around six years. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, even if the boat has already been sold several times. Small series and self-built boats can also be insured.
The boat trailer is included free of charge, and the cover also applies during craning, during launching, while in transport and in winter storage. Added to this is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels, as well as legal expenses cover for water sports on request.

What do I get compensated in the event of a total loss?
The agreed value that was settled, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit. That is why the value should be set carefully when the contract is taken out.
Does the number of previous owners matter?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In a dispute after buying a used boat, legal expenses cover for water sports can additionally be taken out.
