Five model ranges are on record, the models 850 OK, 1000 OK, 1100 OK, 1000 AK and 1100 AK, built from 1995 and at the latest until 2005. Anyone taking over one of these motor yachts today does so on the used market. Before taking out the policy it is worth looking at the replacement value, because it determines the sum insured.
We record this amount as an agreed value. In the event of a claim the full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle to the contract, and legal expenses cover for water sports can be added.
The full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, the limited hull cover fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The basis remains the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

What amount do I set when buying used?
The replacement value together with permanently fitted equipment makes sense. We agree this amount as an agreed value, which in the event of a claim applies with no deduction for depreciation.
Is a long chain of previous owners a problem?
No. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range.
