Two ranges from the years 1976 to 1983 are on record: the Nord West 24 as a sailing boat and the West Fjord 20 F as a motor boat. For both, the cruising range co-determines the premium. Inland waters and coastal waters are rated differently, as are value, year of construction and propulsion.
With a sailing boat the sail area takes the place of the engine power, while with a motor boat the registered power counts. The brand itself never enters into the calculation. If you leave your usual waters and head abroad, we issue the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
Since production ended in 1983, the boats today come from a second or third owner. The place of purchase, previous owners and the year of construction are no obstacle for us. The agreed value in the full hull cover fixes the agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff without any age limit.

What should be done when changing waters?
Report the change to us so that the cruising range in the policy is correct. For trips abroad you automatically receive the international certificate of insurance in ten languages.
