Whatever is to be covered belongs in the schedule attached to the contract, because only what is listed goes into the agreed value. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered under the full hull cover.
Worlds lie between the Nina 1050 MS from 1971 and a Kalan 48 from 1997, but not in insurance terms: the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis.

Is permanently installed electronics part of the cover?
Equipment and electronics should be named in the schedule attached to the contract so that they are included in the agreed value. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered by the full hull cover.
How are sail and motor models distinguished?
For the sailing yachts the sail area counts, for the Feltz 900 and Feltz 1200 the engine power. Everything else, from value to cruising range, is recorded in the same way in both cases.

On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
