Whatever electronics and equipment are on board belong in the list drawn up when the policy is taken out, so that they appear in the compensation in the event of a claim. The four ranges Holiday Voyager, Holiday Weekend, Hummel Family and Hummel Sport were built between 1965 and 1973.
On boats from that era, retrofitting has usually taken place over decades. Full hull cover therefore works with an agreed value that reflects the present condition, and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. Theft of parts including the outboard is included.
Production ended in 1973, so these boats are bought second hand. NAMMERT insures regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. For a dispute after buying a used boat or with a yard, legal expenses cover for water sports is available, and the boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Frequent questions
Does retrofitted electronics have to be declared separately?
Yes, it belongs in the list on which the agreed value is based. Only what is recorded there feeds into the compensation, which is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Are boats from the sixties still insurable?
Yes. NAMMERT insures regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. For a Hummel Sport from the 1965 year of construction, the agreed value applies without an age limit in the Premium tariff.
