Worth knowing
Eurocrown; cover, cost and conditions
At the start of every policy with us stands third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the tiers Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. This applies to a Eurocrown 196 CCR just as much as to a 268 CR: anyone who causes damage to others is protected first of all through this foundation.
With a 196 CCR and a 268 CR, two Eurocrown boats are already insured in our own portfolio. We accept the brand regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners; what counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Your Eurocrown is therefore classified according to its own data.
On top of the third-party liability you add hull insurance as required: limited hull cover for fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage; full hull cover additionally for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. In this way the cover grows with the value the boat has for you.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Which limits of indemnity are available for a Eurocrown in third-party liability?
10 to 50 million euros, depending on the tariff tier Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Third-party liability is the foundation of every policy; you build limited hull cover and full hull cover on top of it as required.
Does it matter where a used Eurocrown was purchased?
No. We provide cover regardless of the place of purchase, the year of construction and previous owners. A 196 CCR and a 268 CR are already insured in our portfolio; classification is based on the data of your boat.

For the whole class of boat
What matters for your boat depends less on the brand than on engine output, how a claim is settled and the waters you sail.
