Worth knowing
Enter Yacht Int. AB; cover, cost and conditions
Two sailing yachts are recorded, the Enter 360 Standard with a production period from 1996 to 2009 and the Enter 360 Explicit from 1995 to 2003. Both ranges have been discontinued, so today only used boats enter the portfolio. For them the value is agreed in advance as an agreed value.
In the event of a claim this agreed value serves as the indemnity, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Whatever is to be covered, from the sails to the equipment on deck, belongs in the list attached to the contract. A later valuation at current market value is thereby dispensed with.
Beyond these two ranges nothing is on record about the yard, neither sizes nor a segment. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range are sufficient. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, small series and home builds included.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
What distinguishes the two recorded Enter 360 in the policy?
Nothing in the scope of cover. Type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range go into the calculation, not the designation Standard or Explicit and not the brand either.
How is a yacht valued when there are hardly any comparable offers?
By an agreed value set in advance. In the event of a claim it serves as the indemnity, with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Small series are insurable.

Series by Enter Yacht Int. AB, build years and cover
Enter 360 Standard is a sailing yacht from Enter Yacht Int. AB, built from 1996 to 2009.
Enter 360 Explicit is a sailing yacht from Enter Yacht Int. AB, built from 1995 to 2003.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
