Four motorboat ranges are recorded, Commuter 19, Riviera 20, Ski 19 and Sportsman 19, all with years of construction from 1986 to 1995. After that the record ends. We insure boats from small series and from production runs that ceased long ago just as we do current programmes.
Small series and home-built boats can be insured as well. What is decisive is not how many units were built but what the application states: type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. The name of the yard remains without significance for the premium.
When such a boat is taken over today, complete documents are often no longer available. Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners do not stand in the way of acceptance. Under full hull cover we agree an agreed value, in the Premium tariff with no age limit, and indemnify with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Frequent questions
Can boats from small series be insured?
Yes. Small series and home-built boats can be insured. For the classification, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count, not the number of units in the range.
Up to what sum does online conclusion go?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you conclude directly online. If the value is above that, we examine the case individually and tailor the contract to the boat.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

Equipment
Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.
Cruising range
The agreed cruising range is stated in the policy and can be extended at any time.
