Ecomariner; cover, cost and conditions
Two model ranges are on record, the Alfa 300 and the Ecomariner 25, both built as motor yachts between 2007 and 2013. Production lies in the past, the boats have remained in service. Switching insurer costs you no effort, because we cancel the previous contract free of charge.
With the switching service we take care of the cancellation, so you do not have to deal with the deadlines yourself. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that we assess the individual case. The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is the basis.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included. The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.

How does switching from an existing contract work?
You take out the policy with us and we handle the cancellation of the previous contract free of charge. The new cover then begins seamlessly, without your having to deal with deadlines.
Can a motor yacht from 2007 have full hull cover with no age limit?
In the Premium tariff the full hull cover applies with no age limit. The agreed amount is stated in the contract as an agreed value and is compensated in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation.

Ecomariner 25 is a motor yacht from Ecomariner, built from 2007 to 2013.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
