EAGLE Catamarane is represented by six sport catamarans between 5.5 and 7.5 m. The core is the Eagle 20 in the standard, C MK II, Ocean and XXL versions. The Eagle 24 Ocean is the largest model, and the Nikita 18 completes the list. Production ran from 2001 to 2019.
Sport catamarans travel on trailers, are stored on the beach and are rigged and de-rigged often. Third party liability is therefore the base, and transport and storage ashore belong in the cover. For build years from 2001 an agreed value is the clearer basis, because hulls, beams, mast and sails together make up the figure.

Is racing an Eagle 20 covered?
Racing is a separate category of use and has to be declared. For leisure sailing the standard scope applies.
What happens if damage occurs while rigging?
Damage ashore can be included if transport and storage form part of the cover. On catamarans that is particularly worthwhile, because mast and beams take load during rigging.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
