Dyna Craft is listed with 20 motor yachts between 10.7 and 29 m. The types follow one continuous series: Dyna 32, 50, 51, 52, 55, 60, 63, 65, 68 and 95, plus the Laguna models 70 and 77. Production has run since 1985 and continues today.
A span from just under eleven to 29 m is considerable, so value, cruising area and berth decide the rating. For the early build years from 1985 an agreed value is the fitting basis, because a market value falls short on yachts with a refit and renewed systems. On the large units the tender, electronics and optional equipment should be named in the agreed figure explicitly.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
