Drettmann in Bremen is shipyard, dealer and refit yard in one and offers the Explorer and Elegance ranges between 15 and 40 metres, expedition yachts and classic motor yachts, partly built as one-offs, partly in cooperation with Asian yards. The sums insured are often above the limit of the calculator.
With expedition yachts the cruising range is the heart of the matter: these yachts are built to travel to waters where there is no yard. The worldwide cruising range applies without restriction, but salvage costs and the deductible should then match reality. Anyone planning Greenland or Spitsbergen should talk to us beforehand, navigation in ice is a subject of its own and is not included as a matter of course.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
