Worth knowing
DNA Performance Sailing; cover, cost and conditions
One range from DNA Performance Sailing is recorded, the cabin catamaran DNA 51 from the years of construction 2015 to 2022. For such a craft, third-party liability forms the basis of the policy, selectable with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels.
There is no information on size, country or further ranges, and we do not add anything later. For the policy, the data of the particular boat is enough: the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range determine the premium; the brand name has no effect on it.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and compensates with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. Cover continues during craning, during launching and in winter storage.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How is the compensation determined in the event of a claim?
Through the agreed value set out in the policy. Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, and in the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.
Up to which sum insured can cover be taken out online?
You take out cover online up to 2.5 million euros. If the value is higher, NAMMERT assesses the individual case and prepares a quotation for the particular boat.

Series by DNA Performance Sailing, build years and cover
DNA 51 is a cabin catamaran from DNA Performance Sailing, built from 2015 to 2022.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
