Worth knowing
Diana; cover, cost and conditions
Switching to NAMMERT costs you no effort: we cancel the previous policy free of charge. For a boat such as the Diana 700, built from 1980 to 1994, details of type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range are enough to determine the premium.
Nothing beyond this single motorboat model range is on record. That changes nothing about the cover, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and small production runs and home-built boats can be insured too. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are covered. The trailer is included at no extra premium, and cover continues in winter storage and during craning.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Who takes care of cancelling the policy with the previous insurer?
We take care of that. The NAMMERT switching service cancels the previous policy free of charge, and you only provide the details of your boat.
Is a year of construction of 1980 a problem?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff the age limit for compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) also does not apply.

Series by Diana, build years and cover
Diana 700 is a motorboat from Diana, built from 1980 to 1994.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
