What separates the Elite and SL lines in an application?
For insurance purposes length, value, propulsion and cruising area count, not the line name. Elite and SL are therefore treated alike as long as the equipment is stated correctly.
Can a new boat be insured from the day of handover?
Yes. Cover can start on the handover date even if the yacht is delivered under her own power afterwards. That delivery trip should be reflected in the cruising area.
