The recorded programme comprises four ranges: the Invicta 24 with years of construction from 2007 to 2013, and the Invicta 295, Invicta 315 and Kent 35, which have been built since 2019 and continue today. Small series and home-built boats can also be insured at NAMMERT, and a small number of ranges is no obstacle to cover.
For each of these motor boats the cover begins with third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. On this is built full hull cover with an agreed value, which covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
With motor boats the engine power helps determine the premium, together with value, year of construction and cruising range. Whether a boat comes from a current or a discontinued model range makes no difference to this. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.

Can small series be insured at all?
Yes, NAMMERT takes small series and home-built boats into cover. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range count, not the number of units in a model range.
Which losses does full hull cover cover in addition to limited hull cover?
In addition to limited hull cover, full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Indemnity is paid according to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
