With open catamarans the sail area counts, not the engine power. Two model ranges from Centro Nautico Lion are recorded, the Lion 16 and the Lion 18, both open catamarans from the years 1984 to 1993. The premium arises from this together with value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range.
We have no further information about the yard, and production lies in the past. An open catamaran is usually trailered, launched and stored ashore over the winter. Our cover applies in exactly those places as well, and the boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
Anyone who sails races with the boat should reflect this in the contract. Club races are included from Basis-Plus, and you state races with ranking status when taking out the policy. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in every tariff level.
