Caraibe; cover, cost and conditions

Sixty model ranges are recorded, among them the Classic models CL-13 and CL-14 as well as the Deluxe range from DL-11 to DL-20. The documented ranges are inflatable boats with an engine, built since 2001 and listed to this day. For us, a programme of this breadth means only one thing: every boat is rated on its own data.

The cruising range is one of the details that determine the premium. Whether you stay on inland waters or travel along the coast has an effect, as do type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power. For trips abroad you receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.

Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros can be chosen in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover works with an agreed value, dispenses with the deduction for depreciation and covers theft of parts including the outboard. In the Premium tariff it applies with no age limit.

Frequent questions

Does the cruising range change the premium?

Yes. Inland or coastal waters feed into the calculation together with type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power. The make of the boat has no influence on the premium.

Do I receive a certificate for trips abroad?

We issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. With it you can prove your cover in foreign harbours and during checks.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
