The SQ 240i is recorded as the only motorboat model range, built from 2020 to 2024. No further model ranges are available. For the policy that is enough, because what counts in any case is the data of the boat and not that of the yard, among other things type of boat, value and year of construction.
On a motorboat what counts above all is engine output, together with cruising range and sum insured. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, optionally as Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.
Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard belong to full hull cover, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation. Fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage are covered by limited hull cover.

Up to what sum does the policy go through without further enquiry?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the online application goes straight through. If the value is above that, an individual review follows, and the boat can be insured nonetheless.
