Two model ranges are on record, the Bilgin 156 / 163 since 2010 and the Giantessa at 80 metres since 2018. The Turkish superyacht yard from Istanbul builds in steel and aluminium for the world market, with sizes between 45 and 80 metres. In this class, third-party liability stands at the beginning of every contract.
You choose between 10 and 50 million euros limit of indemnity in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tiers. With vessels of this length the higher limit carries weight, because manoeuvres in tight harbours and alongside other people's jetties can cause considerable third-party damage. The hull insurance cover has neither a time window nor a night clause.
The sum insured determines the route to the contract. Taking out cover online is possible up to 2.5 million euros; above that an individual assessment follows.
