Benetti; cover, cost and conditions
Benetti in Viareggio is one of the oldest yacht yards in the world and builds between 30 and 100 metres, the Class series in small production runs, the Custom builds as one-offs. On the smaller Class models the sums insured are in the single-digit millions, on the Custom yachts far above that.
The same applies to all of these yachts: underwriting is handled personally. What is negotiated are the cruising range, crew liability, charter operation, deductibles and the valuation of the interior. With Italian yards there is often an individually designed interior fit-out whose valuation is a task in its own right, and series prices are of no help. The calculator on this page goes up to 2.5 million euros; please call us for anything above that.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.
Waters
Inland, coastal and abroad; plan fairways, bridge clearances, draught and tides.
Equipment
Lifesaving gear, fire extinguisher, anchor, signalling equipment and correct navigation lights.
