Bella and Flipper are Finnish production brands for GRP boats between 5 and 9 metres, bowriders, console boats and day cruisers, mostly with an outboard. They are the classic family boats of the Nordic countries, robust and with a good resale value. This very resale value is the reason not to insure the boat on a depreciated value basis: used Bella and Flipper boats hold their price better than the depreciation table assumes.
With family boats one module comes into play that is overlooked on sports boats: the personal accident cover for the people on board. It pays in the event of disability and death regardless of the question of fault, even when nobody is liable, for example after a fall on board or while swimming from the boat. Licence
