The list contains four ranges: the Omega 620 has been built since 2008 and to this day, while Alf, As and Es were produced between 1996 and 2005. Where an outboard sits on the transom, full hull cover applies to theft of parts including the outboard, and also to collision, grounding and vandalism.
For events without external influence, limited hull cover applies with fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. The hull insurance has neither a time window nor a night clause, so the time of day of a loss does not mean any restriction.
The premium results from the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, not from the brand. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, races with ranking status you report when taking out the policy. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows.
